Konnichiwa

I love this place so much. The servers and workers were so kind! They sang happy birthday to my dad and it had to have been the BEST performance I’ve ever seen. He got a little dessert with a candle and they sang (actually so good) with a guitar and some other instruments I think! On top of all that, the food was SO good. My dad got the ramen and I got the chicken hibatchi bowl. The only thing is the yum yum sauce was a little soupy for my liking. But it still tasted good. Loved the sushi too, but only tried the smoked salmon roll. I think it was the Clemson roll!

Really really really good! Ordered the tuna tataki, fried rice, noodles, steak bento box and egg rolls. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Service was great also. Loved our meal and will definitely be back the next time we stop into town.

Got hibachi here and not only was it a fun show but the food was to die for! Every meal was cooked amazing and I personally recommend the specialty sushi rolls since the two that we tried were amazing!! Definitely a great stop for a family night out or a nice calm Asian dinner. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back for more!!!

Amazing sushi! I was visiting my sister in Charleston who had so many good things to say when she went for the first time to the Fort Mill location, so we decided to go to her local KONNICHIWA. We weren’t disappointed!! The sushi was beyond great, really great service and the presentation of our sushi was really cute!! We had the lobster tempura roll, mama roll and I can’t recall the last one but they were all BOMB!!! Also make sure you get a side of their sweet chili sauce and drizzle over your rolls...sooo good! After we were finishing up our waitress brought over a complimentary dessert of their fried plantains and ice cream which was a nice treat. I can’t wait to go to the location closer to me in Charlotte!

Such fresh sushi and rolls!! The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the food was beyond amazing! There is an endless list of rolls to choose from, and while the menu didn’t have any pictures, the actual foods went above and beyond what the words described. The menu really doesn’t do justice for their food haha. We as a group of 4 ordered 4 rolls while not being all that hungry, but the rolls were exceptionally good and used quality ingredients and we ended up getting 3 more rolls, which we promptly devoured again. Among the best rolls were Kassy and Black Panther, which had good amount of caviar. Their rolls were so good that our group returned to Konichiwa 2 days later, and this happened while we were traveling! Ask about the omakase that they are launching! They had great selection of sushi, including toro and uni, combined with hot sake. Also the off-menu fried plantain was mouth-wateringly good. We had such a fun, great experience! Thank you especially Sam who made our trip really memorable at Charleston. Ps. Order their takoyaki it’s awesome!

We had our date night here tonight....it was amazing the atmosphere was beautiful...clean and lovely place!! The Owner Sam was amazing he greeted us and shook our hands as we left...this is hands down the best best best place we have ever eaten at in West Ashley for the Japanese experience!!!!! Definitely will be going again and takin friends. .

Stopped in for dinner tonight. I was welcomed by every employee who saw me, which was nice. Service was prompt and courteous. And the food was great! I had the chicken katsu bento bowl, a Kirin beer on tap.
